This small village was our residence for the 2012-2013 season.
There was one small school for grades 1 to 5 with 144 children.
The federal government furnished teachers but all other costs including construction was left to the villagers.
The villagers constructed a very modest building which was in need of repair.
We furnished designs and all necessary building materials for the existing building and all construction was the responsibility of the village.
We also furnished material and labor for the construction of a new building which would increase the capacity to 250 children.
Both projects were completed in 52 days and the opening was well attended by a large porion of the village population and local businesses.
