ANOTHER DON BOSCO/VATICAN PROJECT

Outside of the busy city of Saigon (HCMC) is a small island which is primarily known for the production of bird's nest for bird's nest soup, a Chinese delicacy.

It is here that Don Bosco has established a home for boys at risk age 6 to 16.

These children attend public school on the island and return at the end of each day to a home filled with stability and love.

When we first surveyed this project it was clear that the children were extremely well cared for but the housing was very modest consisting of bamboo and concrete floor for beds.

We joined Don Bosco on this project and with shared donations we constructed a two story home and study hall of approximately 4,000 square feet. There are currently 50 boys living at this home and there is additional land available so that this number can increase in the future.
