In the center of yangon is a small independent village of 700 very poor Burmese families.The abbot of the monastery has created a safe haven for monks, novices, orphans and others who have problems in Burmese society. We constructed a two story multi purpose building. A kitchen and a teachers dorm. We also renovated all of the existing structures.
