Two hours north of Chiang Mai , Thailand, in a remote area is the Ma Pa Kee school. This is a registered Thai school with a very active parent committee. On several occasions we have furnished this school materials and they have furnished the labor to renovate existing  buildings. The school is large and the dining hall and kitchen were small. It was necessary to feed the children in three shifts due to the lack of space. We worked with the local officials and village people and developed a new design that would serve the children. We furnished all of the building material and the local citizens furnished all the labor. The result was a  new large beautiful kitchen, wash area and dining hall that now provides a much more healthy environment for the children and staff. The quality of construction was exceptional and the speed of construction was amazing!
