After learning how to run a lemonade stand at summer camp, our grandchildren told their parents that they had decided to earn some money to help Grandpa and Tanja give aid to Ukrainian Children.

 

The boys, Brendan and Evan, set up a lemonade stand and made several varieties of lemonade after washing their hands. Their parents helped— Lauren baked some cookies for the boys to sell and Andy placed signs in the neighborhood and decorated them with Ukrainian flags.

 

In just 3 days, these two young entrepreneurs  collected $875 !

Andy and Lauren had offered to match funds and rounded off the total donation of $1,750 !

We are so very proud of our Family members and we will direct these funds to make life better for Ukrainian Children.

What a great gift it is to teach our children the joy of giving.
