WHAT IS BIG, GREEN AND HAS A LOUD VOICE?

The answer is not The HULK.

Our team TacMed lost another ambulance in this war and came to us with a request.
We searched and found a vehicle in Stuttgart, Germany.
It was a Mercedes Sprinter Ambulance.
It was checked and was mechanically sound. Based on the representation of the seller and the mechanical check, I purchased the vehicle.

It was transported to Lviv and it is here that I discovered that a few things were wrong and a few things were missing:

1. The rear blue flashing light did not work and on inspection, it needed to be completely replaced;
2. The rear camera did not work and needed to be replaced;
3. The rear light for the camera to see was missing;
4. The onboard stretcher was missing;
5. The dash monitor for the back up camera was missing;
6. The entire electrical system for the lights and sound had been cannibalized and needed to be replaced;
7. The interior lighting system of the medical area needed to be rewired;
8. The large fire extinguisher in the driver cabin was missing;
9. The microphone for the sound system was missing.

There was no choice. We began the search for all of these parts and after 4 weeks, The Ambulance has been painted its new Flat Army Green.
A large trailer will come this week and transport The Ambulance and Toyota 4Runner directly to Dnipro.
I will take the night train for the 12-hour journey to Dnipro and join the vehicles for a hand off to our team.
I am now searching for another Sprinter Ambulance but this time I will prepare a check-off list.
