HOW TO WARM LITTLE COLD TOES?

Dear Family and Friends, you may remember from our previous construction project that The Child House #1 (sorry, we do not like to use the word “Orphanage”), is in a beautiful isolated village.

Here they have received 96 Children without parents, from the War Zones.

They have 56 more children coming soon and so is winter.

There is no budget for more clothes so we decided to try and help.

Tanja and I located a factory in Warsaw, Poland that makes high quality Children’s winter boots.

We contacted the factory and received a special purchase price.

We then contacted our dear friends at The Salesian Order/Don Bosco in Warsaw.

We once again requested transport to Lviv, Ukraine.

You can imagine our surprise when they not only agreed to the transport but also informed us that they would pay for the Boots and we could use this savings on our other projects for children.

The big red van arrived and inside there were 56 pairs of boots as well as over 300 pampers and a multitude of hygiene supplies.

All of this was urgently needed and deeply appreciated by Olga, the Director of Child House #1.

Another bright day in the dark months of this WAR.

A big "thank you" to The Don Bosco/Warsaw Team!
