JULY 6, 2023 - LVIV CITY CENTER WAS ATTACKED
Lviv City Center was attacked on July 6, 2023.
The Russians sent missiles into a residential area of Lviv. 11 people were killed in this attack, which occurred in the middle of the night in the Lviv city center, not far from our hotel. There were two distinct explosions that shook the night and lit up the sky. The next morning, we watched coverage of the rescue operations.
The same week we located, in a warehouse outside of Lviv, a new emergency rescue basket of metal which is used in high altitude evacuations and high-rise buildings disasters. We loaded the basket into our emergency vehicle and delivered it to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
The General in charge expressed his gratitude and personally signed and stamped the acceptance receipt. We are very fortunate to have found this basket and hope that there will not be a reason to use it in Lviv.
It seems that we are often placed in the right place at the right time and we are very grateful for that.
