PERFECT TIMING AT THE SUPERHUMANS CENTER / LVIV

We recently had a visit from Ms. Marsha Hunt, a Rotarian from the USA.

While in Lviv, Marsha requested a visit at the new Superhumans Center which we gladly arranged.

Superhumans Center is a state-of-the-art all-Ukrainian center for prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support for adults and children affected by the war.

All their services are free of charge.

The center was opened in April 2023 in the presence of the President's wife Olena Zelenska.

Supporters include Sir Richard Branson and the British Virgin Group, rock singer Sting, actor and director Liev Schreiber and various American charities, led by the Howard G. Buffett Foundation.

While Marsha was touring the Superhumans Center, we received an urgent request for very special crutches for people who have lost limbs.

We mentioned this to Marsha and she asked that we provide her with details.

We located the crutches in the UK and informed Marsha.

Marsha returned to the USA and contacted us shortly thereafter. She informed us that she and her family and friends wanted to make this donation.

We purchased the special crutches at a very special price and were able to buy a bigger quantity.

Tony Preston, a Rotarian from England, personally transported them to us in Lviv.

We presented this urgently needed donation in Marsha’s name to The Superhumans Center and also to the Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center with the same mission.

The Unbroken project is implemented by the First Medical Union of Lviv and the Lviv City Council with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
